The Twisted Teen Cartoons of Jason Shiga

Jason Shiga has animation in his blood...his father did background painting for several studios in the Japanese animation industry. But his own work is definately a departure from his father's approach. With a sense of humor not too far removed from that of Gary Larson of "Far Side" fame and that of Bill Plympton, and a crude, rude artistic style which suggests that of Callahan, his "go for the jugular" approach is one that must be seen animated to be entirely appreciated. But one can certainly get a taste for it in these sketches. Warning: this is not for the squeamish.

Smaller Works
