ASIFA is the international animation society...its name is an acronym in French: ASsociation Internationale du Film d'Animation. It was originally started by the UN. ASIFA/Hollywood is perhaps the largest branch of the organization, and puts on the Annie Awards, animation's answer to Oscar, every year.
The ASIFA/Hollywood animation center is open from 9 am - 6 pm Tuesday thru Saturday for your browsing and shopping pleasure. The organization stocks many fun cels, books, t-shirts, and videos for sale. All animation fans are welcome to stop by and visit. There are also special events happening at other times.
