Anifest 1996...the Silver Anniversary year

Anifest is an animation convention put on every year by ASIFA/Hollywood. This year they celebrated the 25th anniversary of the first Anifest, making this the longest-running animation fan convention in the United States and probably the world.

Memorabilia for saleIt is true that a lot of emphasis is placed on the vendors, showing their often one-of-a-kind memorabilia for sale to the public, but that is not the only featured attraction at this convention.

Rather, Anifest is a place where Hollywood's animation community can come and meet their fans. This year was particularly good for that very important aspect of the show.
